Christa Pike talking in full sentences as she continues to recover from botched execution

Christa Pike is speaking in full sentences just over a month after surviving a botched execution attempt in Tennessee, her lawyers revealed Wednesday.

The 50-year-old convicted killer’s mobility has also improved since she cheated death after receiving two doses of a lethal injection drug on Sept. 30, one of her attorneys told TMZ Wednesday.

She’s reportedly able to walk better without help, and her speech has considerably improved.

However, medical staff are still keeping a close eye on her cognitive and psychological functioning, her lawyers said.

It could take over a month until the potential long-term effects from the botched execution are known, according to her attorney.

Pike was slated to become the first woman executed in the Volunteer State in 200 years — but instead became the first prisoner ever to survive a lethal injection.

After the botched execution attempt, Pike was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and was awake and speaking less than a week later.

The death-row inmate’s first words after waking up on Oct. 6 in the hospital were: “Where am I?” her lawyers previously said.

She suffered from a blood clot in her arm, pneumonia and was not able to eat after the botched execution.

Pike was released from the hospital on Oct. 10 and returned to the prison where she has been housed for over 30 years.
