Luka Dončić’s obvious chemistry with ESPN’s Malika Andrews turns heads after Lakers win
Luka Dončić produced multiple highlights in the Los Angeles Lakers’ dominant opening-night win against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
But the clip that’s getting the most attention is Dončić’s postgame exchange with ESPN’s Malika Andrews.
Andrews interviewed Dončić after the Lakers’ beat the Warriors. Together the two were all smiles while clearly displaying crackling chemistry.
This prompted one fan to produce an edited video of the two speaking together with romantic music playing in the background. The clip has now gone viral, with the original post tallying over four million views reposted across countless other accounts.
While Dončić seems to be single after his very public breakup with ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes earlier this year, Andrews is married to fellow ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin.
But that fact isn’t going to keep fans from taking note of Andrews and Dončić’s chemistry during this interview.
At the end of the day, Lakers fans care more about what Dončić does on the court than what is going on with his personal life.
And Dončić got off to a hot start in that regard, which he’ll be keen to continue when the Lakers face the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.
