“I’ve thought this through every which way; this is how it had to happen.”

The recently released trailer for the sixth season of Dallas Jenkins’ popular historical drama The Chosen has already accumulated over 600K views. Season 6 debuts next month on Prime Video (more on that below), followed by a special stand-alone film in March 2027. The series is set to conclude with the seventh and final season, which wrapped production in late September, currently slated to be released in 2028.

Thankfully, multiple spinoff series are also reportedly in the works.

Season Six captures the historic events of Jesus’ final day through the lives of those who love Him—and those who condemn Him. Pharisees call it justice. Romans call it peace. Followers call it murder. But in the face of loneliness and death, Jesus stands resolute in his plan that has always led to one place: the cross.
