Rob Kardashian breaks cover with rare appearance at sister Kim’s 46th birthday
Rob Kardashian stepped back into the spotlight for a rare public appearance at sister Kim Kardashian’s 46th birthday bash.
The former reality TV star was photographed Tuesday joining his famous family at Baldi, a steakhouse at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, to mark the occasion.
Rob, 39, kept it casual for the party, sporting a black bomber jacket over a black collared shirt, paired with matching black trousers, black sneakers and a black baseball cap as he hung out outside the restaurant ahead of the festivities.
He was pictured chatting with the birthday girl and sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, standing out among the trio as they got dolled up for the celebration.
Khloé, 42, wore a sheer nude-pink bodycon dress with matching stilettos, while Kourtney, 47, opted for a dark purple long-sleeved mini dress and black high heels.
Meanwhile, Kim dazzled in a shimmery olive-green mini dress featuring a plunging V-neckline, which she accessorized with a jeweled headpiece.
Later, Rob ditched his jacket and button-down shirt for a simple black Nike T-shirt accessorized with a diamond chain as he exited the shindig alongside Khloé, Kim and mom Kris Jenner.
Kim appeared to have changed into a dark red version of her earlier look, while Kris, 70, opted for a pale yellow floral-embellished coat featuring feathered accents.
Rob, who starred on the first eight seasons of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” before opting for a more limited role, has largely kept a low profile since 2016.
The family’s original reality show aired for 20 seasons between 2007 and 2021.
He previously addressed his decision to fly under the radar during a July 2025 appearance on Khloé’s podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” revealing, “It just has everything to do with myself.”
“I don’t wanna be filming and putting myself in a position where I’m not comfortable,” Rob told his sister when she asked why he chose not to appear on “The Kardashians” alongside the rest of his family.
“I’m not comfortable in my skin, so why would I want to go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in when that’s not what I want to do?” he added.
Still, Rob made a cameo during Season 7 of his family’s Hulu series, which premiered in 2022 and is currently airing its eighth season, with Kim teasing in the trailer that “some familiar faces are back.”
He has also popped up in photos from other family gatherings over the years, most recently appearing in snaps shared by Khloé from her 42nd birthday party in July.
Rob was all smiles as he posed alongside Khloé, Kourtney, Kim and Kris, as well as his 9-year-old daughter, Dream, whom he shares with ex Blac Chyna.
