Andrew Tate’s lawyer claims vile ‘manosphere’ influencer is ‘very sick’ in prison — begs for prayers for accused rapist
Andrew Tate has gotten “very sick” as he wastes away in a Florida prison cell awaiting extradition to the UK on a slew of stomach-turning charges, his lawyer claimed Tuesday as he begged the public to pray for the accused rapist.
The vile “manosphere” influencer is languishing in the roach-and feces-infested Federal Detention Center in Miami as he fights extradition to the United Kingdom to face dozens of alarming charges, including rape and human trafficking.
“Andrew is very sick,” said Joe McBride, a trial attorney and self-proclaimed “Traditional Catholic Warrior.”
“He asked for medical treatment multiple times,” McBride said in a statement on X, adding that Tate has received none.
“Medical care is a fundamental human right. If Andrew does not get treatment soon, we will sue FDC Miami into oblivion. Pray for him.”
Tate, 39, previously begged Romanian authorities to repatriate him to the United Arab Emirates, claiming that he had lung-related health issues, according to Newsweek.
The misogynist and his brother Tristan Tate, 38, have been locked up at FDC Miami since they were arrested over the summer on a UK extradition request.
The prison’s hellish conditions have been denounced by inmates to family members and corroborated by a Human Rights Watch report which described incidents of “extreme overcrowding, unsanitary conditions and abusive treatment” inside FDC Miami’s walls.
The Tate brothers are being detained in the facility’s special housing unit, a cordoned-off section separate from the general public — still a far cry from the lavish, jet-setting lifestyles they showcase on social media.
In August, Tristan whined in a hand-scrawled note shared by McBride about the number of snacks they’ve received from the commissary at the Miami lockup.
“We have had 14 snack items in the past 32 days between two big men. What is this, trick or treat? I’ve lost 13 pounds and I’m hungry,” reads the missive shared on X by McBride.
“LOOK at this NOTE from TRISTAN,” McBride wrote in his X post, showing Tristan’s pathetic plea for more treats.
“I am hungry,” he wrote, quoting from the note, and punctuating it with a broken heart emoji.
“Tristan is down 13 lbs, and Andrew 8. The Gov claims they have normal commissary access. The Gov is lying,” the brothers’ lawyer claimed.
“They’ve been given commissary access one time in 32 days. Imagine a single snickers bar lasting 3 days between 2 men…”
However, the brothers have maintained healthy commissary balances — Andrew $3,564; Tristan $2,583 as of early August — according to Miami FDC records obtained by the Miami New Times.
The “manosphere” influencers were detained on July 18 outside a bare-knuckle boxing event in downtown Miami after British prosecutors requested extradition on new charges.
Between the pair, they are facing nearly 60 counts in Britain for alleged offenses that took place between 2010 and 2017, in addition to a Romanian probe.
Andrew is facing dozens of charges in the UK, including multiple counts of rape, human trafficking, assault and possessing child porn.
Tristan faces 17 charges there including rape, sexual exploitation and sex assault
Andrew also stands accused of having sex with a minor, human trafficking and money laundering by prosecutors in Romania.
The creep is accused of recruiting a 15-year-old girl and sexually exploiting her in the UK and Romania between 2012 and 2021.
The woman-hating influencer forced the girl to produce sexually explicit material and practice so-called video chat activities for his pleasure, prosecutors alleged.
Andrew also reportedly kept “extreme” bestiality porn, including images that showed a person having sex with a horse and an eel, UK prosecutors claim.
British authorities revealed the revolting accusations as part of their extradition request.
