Megan Fox is more than happy to see her ex Machine Gun Kelly moving on with Dakota Johnson.

“Megan isn’t just unbothered by MGK dating Dakota — she’s actually relieved he’s moving on,” a source exclusively told Page Six.

“She genuinely wants him to find happiness with someone else because she’s totally done with that chapter of her life. She doesn’t want him back, and she doesn’t want to keep revisiting their relationship.”

The insider’s comments came after TMZ reported Thursday that Fox, 40, was “unbothered” by her ex-fiancé’s budding romance with Johnson, 37, and had no interest in getting involved in his love life.

The “Transformers” star and the rocker, 36, whose real name is Colson Baker, have maintained a good co-parenting relationship since welcoming their daughter, Saga Blade, in March 2025.

“They have a daughter together, so obviously he’s always going to be part of her life, and they have a good co-parenting relationship,” the insider explained. “But that’s where it ends for her. She wants them to be great parents without any confusion about where they stand romantically.”

The source said Fox’s relief also stems from MGK’s flirtatious behavior toward her following their breakup.

In March, the “Bloody Valentine” singer made headlines after commenting, “Stoked i have your phone number,” on a series of racy Instagram photos Fox shared following her return to the social media platform.

“Even after they broke up, he was still leaving those flirty comments on her Instagram, and it felt like he was trying to get her attention,” the insider said.

“From Megan’s perspective, it’s like, ‘We tried, it didn’t work, and I’ve moved on.’ She doesn’t want to keep going through that back and forth.”

Now that MGK has been spending time with Johnson, Fox is hoping his attention will shift away from their past romance.

“If anything, she’s hoping being with Dakota means MGK will finally put his romantic energy into someone else instead of focusing on Megan,” the source said.

“It’s not that she has anything against Dakota. Actually, it’s the opposite. Megan genuinely hopes things work out between them because she wants MGK to be happy. She just doesn’t want to be the person he’s trying to have a romantic relationship with anymore.”

The insider added, “If MGK is happy with Dakota and focused on building something with her, that’s exactly what Megan wants. She can focus on her own life, and they can focus on raising their child together without all the romantic drama getting in the way.”

Reps for Fox, MGK and Johnson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Fox and MGK called it quits in 2024 while the “Jennifer’s Body” actress was pregnant with their first child together.

Meanwhile, MGK and the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star first sparked romance rumors in September after being spotted spending time together in New York City.

Page Six exclusively reported that the pair enjoyed some private time at their mutual friend Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment before heading to dinner at Estela.

A source told us at the time that there was “definitely chemistry” between the two, although their relationship was still in its early stages.

Earlier this month, Page Six also reported that MGK spent the night at Johnson’s Los Angeles home after wrapping up a studio session.

Johnson’s budding romance with MGK comes after her 2025 split from longtime boyfriend Chris Martin.
