Trump blasts Ossoff as ‘far left extremist’ as he touts new Ga. jobs at rally
President Trump blasted Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff as a “far-left extremist,” as he promised new jobs at a Georgia rally Saturday.
Trump ripped Ossoff for voting for policies he said brought about inflation and record-high illegal immigration during the Biden administration.
“Jon Ossoff is a far-left extremist that votes to destroy everything Georgia values,” Trump said as the crowd booed the Dem.
He also announced a new Audi plant in Macon, Georgia and said it would bring thousands of jobs to the state.
“Audi has just committed to invest 4.2 billion dollars in nearby Macon — to begin construction next month on a massive plant that will produce 200,000 cars per year,” he said to raucous cheers.

The president was in Perry, Georgia stumping for Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) who is running to unseat Ossoff in the Senate, and for Rick Jackson who is running for governor against former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms.
Ossoff, who is widely thought of to be a leading contender for the Democratic nominee for president in 2028, is leading Collins by eight points, 48% to 40% with 12% undecided according to the latest AJC poll.
