Cops make grisly find on NYC beach

A woman’s decomposing body was found wrapped in a blanket in a shallow grave on a Queens beach over the weekend.
Police made the gruesome discovery at Rockaway Community Park in Edgemere after receiving a 911 call around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the NYPD.
The body of the unidentified woman was decomposing in the “shallow grave,” law-enforcement sources added to The Post.
Rockaway Community Park is a city green space on Almeda Avenue between Beach 58th Street and Beach 49th Street that faces Jamacia Bay.
An investigation was under way.
