Inside Minky Couture’s cozy, reality star-packed NYC pop-up launch party
Talk about a soft launch!
Minky Couture brought its famously cozy blankets to New York City with a three-day pop-up, kicking off the festivities with a star-studded launch party.
Fan-favorite reality stars pulled up to the SoHo event Friday night and made the exclusive party the ultimate crossover episode with the help of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
Guests, including Hilaria Baldwin, Jessi Draper, Kelly Bensimon and more, joined “VRT” hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy to let loose with endless dirty sodas — served by Swig baristas all the way from Utah — delicious hors d’oeuvres and a decked-out candy bar.
The space was decorated with plush Minky Couture blankets in numerous different patterns and colors, providing a unique and memorable backdrop for social media posts.
“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Miranda Hope and her boyfriend, Kaleb Winterburn, cozied up in the throws a photo, while “Summer House” star KJ Dillard kept warm wrapped in the luxe fabric while he sipped on an iced beverage.
Former “Dancing With the Stars” pros Lindsay Arnold and Sasha Farber stole the show on the dance floor, with the latter even finding former contestant Baldwin to perform a ballroom-inspired routine in front of their highly impressed peers.
Former “Bachelor” Matt James — who partnered with Arnold on Season 30 of “DWTS” — joined in on the fun and threw Farber on his shoulders for their own routine.
Farber also invited Minky Couture founder, Sandi Sumner Hendry, to dance.
In another fun reality TV crossover, “Love Thy Nader” star Mary Holland Nader was seen chatting it up with several “SLOMW” stars.
Other reality stars were spotted getting extra cozy on the dance floor, including infamous “SLOMW” couple Jessi Draper and Marciano Brunette, months after making their red carpet debut.
Draper stunned in a floral pink minidress as she danced with the “Vanderpump Villa” star, who appeared to be on better terms with “Mormon Wives” following his and Draper’s cheating scandal.
The OG “Mormon Wives” crew was joined by the new cast of the Orange County spinoff, including Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard and McCall DaPron, the sister of OG Mayci Neeley.
As the night came to a close, guests left with a stacked gift bag, including a highly-coveted Minky Couture blanket.
Other goodies included a HydroJug, a Swig x NYC baseball cap and bejeweled “VRT” keychains.
