Thomas Markle’s granddaughter says his child porn investigation ‘doesn’t surprise’ her
Thomas Markle’s granddaughter Noelle Rasmussen said she always knew something was “off” about her grandfather.
“Maybe it was a vibe that I subconsciously got … something’s not right about a person, and you don’t actively register it,” she told the Telegraph in a new interview after reports surfaced that Markle was being investigated over child sex abuse images allegedly found in his Philippines home.
“But your body tells you when something’s off,” she added.
“It doesn’t surprise me. The more and more I think about it, it just doesn’t … I don’t know why it’s not a surprise.”
Rasmussen — whose mom is Samantha Markle, the half-sister of Meghan Markle — said the claims against her grandfather have been “disturbing” for “everybody involved and everybody reading it.”
“Nobody likes to hear things like that,” she shared, adding she was glad that her uncle Thomas Markle Jr. was “whistleblowing.”
Rasmussen stated she has never been abused by Thomas Sr.
“I’m glad that I had never been victimized or had the chance to be victimized,” she told the outlet.
“I don’t think he would attack family, but when you do not know what somebody’s capable of, you can’t assume,” she added.
As for Meghan’s decision to keep her and Prince Harry’s two children away from her father, Thomas, Sr., Rasmussen said she supports the Duchess of Sussex’s call “100 percent.”

“I support her decision to prevent her kids from seeing him. I wouldn’t want my kids around somebody who was being accused of child molestation,” she told the Telegraph.
Page Six has reached out to Meghan for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Last Thursday, news surfaced that Thomas, 82, was being investigated over allegedly owning “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images.
Thomas Jr., 60, allegedly found the materials inside several boxes and reportedly turned them over to local police.
Thomas Sr. denied the allegations, telling the Daily Mail that he is “shocked” and “hurt” by his son’s “sick lies.”
“I could never do what I’m being accused of. It’s the worst thing anyone could accuse me of,” he told the outlet.
“This is bulls–t. It’s just a bunch of lies. It’s sick. I have no idea why Tom is trying to destroy me with these lies,” Thomas Sr. added.
Meghan, 45, spoke out about the allegations against her estranged father, saying she is “deeply distressed” about the claims.
After the shocking allegations, the “Suits” alum, her husband, 42, and their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, fled the UK.
Page Six exclusively reported that Meghan and Harry are staying off Instagram for mental health reasons and leaning on friends for support.
