Hochul says Nicki Minaj was ‘poisoned’ by Trump in clapback after rapper called her ‘evil’: ‘I’m nice’

Mic drop!

Gov. Kathy Hochul fired back at Nicki Minaj Thursday — hinting that she’s been brainwashed by President Trump — after the rapper called her “evil” and declared that she should be dumped by the Dems.

“I’m not evil. I’m nice. I’m nice,” Hochul insisted, when asked by The Post what Minaj has against her.

Hochul made the comment while climbing into a black SUV at a phone banking event in Peekskill ahead of Tuesday’s gubernatorial election.

“She’s been poisoned by Donald Trump, so that is the issue she has to deal with,” Hochul said of Minaj — when asked about the rapper’s wrath at a press conference earlier in the day.

“Being an outlier right now, that’s her choice,” she added. “Too much time at Trump rallies is pretty bad for peoples’ mental health.”

Earlier in  the week, the Trinidadian, Queens-raised rapper slammed Hochul as an “evil woman” and pushed for GOP hopeful Bruce Blakeman to win the race.

“Kathy Hochul is an evil woman,” she wrote on X Tuesday. “The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”

Minaj went scorched earth on Hochul over previous viral comments where the Democrat claimed “black kids in the Bronx” were unaware of what computers are.

“HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE & HEAR FROM THEM?!! HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?! SHE STAYS SILENT ON HARM BEING CAUSED TO THE INNOCENT & THIS IS WHAT SHE THINKS OF YOUR CHILDREN! Vote BLAKEMAN!” Minaj fumed in a follow-up post.

The hip hop star has been campaigning with President Trump to support Republican candidates ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
