Justin Bieber pictured kicking back with cigar during Seoul trip with Hailey — amid public fallout with disgraced pastor
Sorry not sorry.
Justin Bieber kicked back with a cigar during a trip to Seoul, South Korea with wife, Hailey Bieber, as his former pastor pal Carl Lentz accused the singer of brutally turning his back on him.
In recent photos obtained by Page Six, the musician looked carefree as he reclined in his seat while chatting with friends and puffing on the cigar. The chart topper was also seen holding a paper cup as he soaked up time with his wife and pals.
Justin sported a blue and gray sweatsuit with red shades, while Hailey wore an all-black ensemble with an oversized leather jacket and sunglasses.
The laid-back images have been shared on the heels of Lentz accusing the duo of kicking him and his family out of their home after the ex-Hillsong leader became embroiled in a November 2020 cheating scandal.
According to Carl, he and his wife, Laura Lentz, along with their children, were staying in the the A-list couple’s New York City apartment.
However, the Lentzes say that, as soon as reports about the disgraced pastor’s infidelity began to surface, Justin and Hailey went back on their offer.
“We’d been planning a potential move to Brooklyn for months,” Laura wrote in “Overcoming Infidelity: 10 Conversations to Help You Heal the Hurt,” the Daily Mail reported Thursday.
While Justin and Hailey initially told Carl and Laura and their three kids — Ava, 22, Charlie, 20, and Roman, 17 — to “use their place as long as needed,” they allegedly rescinded the offer when Carl made headlines for being unfaithful.
“Somebody on Justin’s team [called] to say we needed to be out of his and Hailey’s apartment in the next 24 hours. We hastily packed our things and loaded them into a rented U-Haul, ” Laura recalled.
The disgraced pastor dubbed the move a “kick to the ribs” when he was “already down for the count,” having been fired from Manhattan’s Hillsong Church over “moral failures” and “breaches of trust.”
Carl wrote, “I deserved to be kicked to the curb, but I felt Laura and the kids were just innocent bystanders suffering once again for my sins.”
While he was “devastated” on behalf of his family, Carl writes he now understands he put Justin, 32, “in a precarious place on multiple levels” and his scandal dragged him and Hailey, 29, into a “publicity nightmare they never asked for.”
The Grammy winner has never commented publicly on Carl’s cheating scandal but, notably, he and Hailey unfollowed the Lentz family on social media in 2020.
Justin’s friendship with Carl dated back to 2008. The Canadian native briefly lived with the Lentz family in New Jersey in 2014.
“There was a period where he just needed to get out of dodge, his regular life, and lived with us,” Carl explained to the Associated Press in 2017 of the “pretty special time.”
Carl even performed Justin’s 2015 baptism after he went to the religious leader feeling “ravaged by feelings of loss” following a tough year of public scrutiny and legal troubles.
He was also one of the attendees at Justin and Hailey’s 2019 nuptials.
