NYC home health aid charged in death of 81-year-old woman in her care

A home care attendant charged in the death of an 81-year-old Queens woman claimed she complied when the senior asked her to cut her catheter, law enforcement sources said Friday.

Patricia Williams, 46, was arrested at the South Jamaica home where cops found Lillie Hill lifeless around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Hill was rushed from the 146th Street and Sutter Avenue residence to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, cops said.

Williams — who is charged with manslaughter — told investigators that she cut Hill’s catheter because the octogenarian told her to do so, according to the sources.

She insisted she was not trying to hurt her client, the sources said.

Hill’s exact cause of death is under investigation, pending an autopsy.

Williams’ arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Friday evening, prosecutors said.
