Trans bus driver fired for wearing skimpy dress and dubbing route the ‘Lolita Line’ — but now they’re suing
A transgender bus driver for a Canadian school was canned after wearing a skimpy schoolgirl’s outfit and dubbing their route the “Lolita Line” — and is now suing over the firing.
The driver — identified only as L.Z. in court papers — was booted from their gig with Ontario’s York Catholic District School Board in 2025 after outraged parents reported the situation, the National Post reported.
Stunning images appeared to capture L.Z. in full get-up at the door of the bus — wearing a short pink skirt, a frilly white top and knee-high stockings.
“I do this every day, and I don’t think there is an issue,” L.Z. said in a video while being confronted by parents. “What’s the problem?”
L.Z. also reportedly placed a placard reading “Lolita Line” in the window of the bus, in an apparent reference to the infamous 1955 Vladimir Nabokov novel about a middle-aged man sexually obsessed with a 12-year-old girl.
That name also eerily echoed the widely used nickname of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, the “Lolita Express.”
L.Z. was booted from the job — but the ex-driver turned around and sued the school district and bus company claiming “discrimination with respect to employment because of ethnic origin, gender identity, and sex” because they are “a transgender woman.”
L.Z. then lobbied to get their name blocked from the lawsuit citing safety threats — a request which only threw a spotlight on the case after it was approved, as the case was only made public because the block was granted, the National Post reported.
That move led the National Post columnist who uncovered the case to question whether L.Z. was serious — or just pulling the public’s leg.
“It’s unclear whether this individual is mentally ill, simply engaging in a stunt to take advantage of an overzealous, unaccountable human rights system, or something else altogether,” columnist Jamie Sarkonak wrote.
“No rational adult would show up to a job with proximity to kids in a skimpy costume and a reference to a novel about the sexual abuse of a child by a middle-aged man … and then revive the controversy by engaging in lawfare,” she added.
It wouldn’t be the first time a transgender school worker’s behavior in Ontario left people wondering if they were being put on.
In 2022, Canadian teacher Kayla Lemieux commanded headlines for months after the biological male was exposed for wearing cartoonishly enormous prosthetic breasts under tight clothing to class — and continued to for months despite fury from parents.
Lemieux’s outfits were so outrageous that some wondered whether the entire thing was some kind of long-running hoax.
But the school rallied around Lemieux — at least for a while — with the school’s principal at one point announcing he’d placed new school safety measures because of the attention, while Lemieux was even given a police escort for the commute to school.
“It’s disingenuous,” one parent told The Post after Lemieux finally ditched the outfit. “And it’s obvious now it was all an attention grab at the expense of children’s safety.”
