Halloween is over.

Now, the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders try to avoid the spookiest fate possible:

Sitting in last place in the NFC East.

Coming into tonight’s Sunday Night Football contest, Jayden Daniels’ 1-4-1 club occupies the unlucky spot but with a win at their home Northwest Stadium, they could trade places with Tanner McKee’s Eagles.

The odds are in their favor, too.

DraftKings and FanDuel list the club as 5.5 to 6-point favorites largely thanks to the injuries that have plagued Philadelphia.

Star quarterback Jalen Hurts is out for the year and Saquon Barkley might play but isn’t at 100% after a right hamstring strain.

Washington may be without Terry McLaurin but that only gives Stefon Diggs, Antonio Williams and Chig Okonkwo more time to shine.

To add insult to injury, the Eagles last played on Monday Night while the Commanders are quite well-rested after their bye week.

This one’s for pride. Don’t miss out.

If you want to tune in to today’s Week 8 NFC East showdown, here’s what you need to know.
