Bill Belichick’s off-the-field relationships are in the news once again.

Last week, TMZ Sports reported that Belichick, 74, and girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 25, secretly broke up nearly a year ago, though they are still “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.”

The Tar Heels head coach was asked about the report during his media availability on Monday, which Belichick did not seem to appreciate.

“Do you work for a tabloid now?” he snapped the reporter. “I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you.”

Belichick and Hudson first met on a flight in 2021 and reportedly started dating in 2022, making their red carpet debut together in December 2024 at the Museum Gala in New York City.

Hudson made headlines in April 2025 for shutting down questions from off-camera about how the pair met on a “CBS Sunday Morning” interview.

As recently as a week ago, Hudson was spotted on the sidelines supporting Belichick and the Tar Heels against Syracuse. TMZ’s bombshell report came as a surprise last week, as the pair have been appearing at events together throughout 2026.

Even those working alongside Belichick were blindsided by the news. Two members of UNC’s football program told USA Today Sports that they were caught off-guard by the report.
