Gwyneth Paltrow teams up with the brand behind her viral ski trial glasses on ‘fresh’ aviator frames

Gwyneth Paltrow has an eye for viral moments.

During her infamous ski trial in 2023, the lifestyle mogul set the internet atwitter with her Caddis Metanodernist Scout Glasses. Now, she’s teaming up with the eyewear brand on her very own Goop x Caddis Gwyn Glasses.

The collection includes wire-frame readers, progressive lenses and sunglasses, all available in either polished gold or matte gunmetal frames.

Much like her beloved Metamodernist Scout frames, they’re an oversized aviator silhouette — though the Gwyn version features rounded edges.

While there are plenty of options to customize them to your desired strength, the lenses all have a premium hard coating to help repel dirt, grease and water.

The new glasses debuted on Paltrow’s 2026 Goop holiday gift guide, described as “modern, bold, the opposite of dorky — nothing like what you’d find on a rotating drugstore display.”

According to Goop, the “fresh take on the forever-cool aviator” is what the Oscar winner wears to to “answer emails, skim her podcast notes before a recording session, or bang out a Substack post at her kitchen table.”

Much like Paltrow, Caddis’ ethos is all about staying effortlessly cool at any age. It’s a brand mission that seems to resonate with plenty of other celebrities too, given everyone from Brooke Shields to Matthew McConaughey owns its stylish frames.

Katie Couric also teamed up with the company last month, telling Page Six Style her signature Miklos Glasses are “a fun neutral that will make your eyes pop.”

If you think you’re seeing Caddis frames all over Hollywood, it’s not an optical illusion.
