Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones didn’t move. None of the franchise faces appeared physically bothered by the question regarding Chris DeMarco’s future after the Liberty suffered a semifinals sweep.

It was a drastically different reaction than a year ago when Sandy Brondello was on the hot seat only 11 months after leading the Liberty to their first championship.

After losing Game 3 at home, Jones passed off responsibility, saying, “That’s not our say.”

Ionescu thanked DeMarco for his contributions but said “that’s not our decision.”
