Jannik Sinner’s model girlfriend Laila Hasanovic’s LA move tease sparks relationship questions
Jannik Sinner hasn’t appeared on a tennis court since winning Wimbledon back in July because of persistent knee issues.
This prolonged absence ended his 2026 season early and caused him to lose his world No. 1 ranking to Alexander Zverev.
On the surface, it seems like Sinner’s season ending early would mean he could spend more time with his girlfriend, Danish model Laila Hasanovic.
But that doesn’t appear to be the case, given an Instagram post Hasanovic made on Wednesday.
She posted several photos from her recent trip to Los Angeles. The post was captioned, “should I move here??” suggesting the model is considering a permanent move to California.
Several comments on this post have expressed concern about what this potential long-distance move might mean for Sinner and Hasanovic’s relationship.
She currently lives in Copenhagen while Sinner lives in Monte Carlo, Monaco. So while the couple doesn’t live in the same city, at least they’re on the same continent right now.
Granted, Hasanovic might just be joking about a potential move to Los Angeles, and she just said that because she needed a caption.
But she also clearly enjoyed her time in California, and was seen wearing a vampire Halloween costume at an LA party over the weekend.
The hope is Sinner will be healthy enough to compete at the Indian Wells Open in Southern California in early 2027. If so, perhaps Hasanovic will make the trip back to California with him.
