Taylor Swift slammed as ‘fakest’ New York Knicks fan by team player Tyler Kolek: ‘I’m going to get hate’
Baby, now they’ve got bad blood.
New York Knicks player Tyler Kolek savagely name-dropped “performative” Taylor Swift as the team’s “fakest celeb fan” during an NBA 2K TikTok livestream Thursday.
The athlete, 25, noted that he hasn’t “seen her at any other games” besides the NBA Finals Game 4 in June.
His teammate Deuce McBride said he “would agree” — but pointed out that “Swifties [are] not gonna like that answer.”
Kolek acknowledged he was “gonna get some hate” for his remarks.
While he went on to say that Swift does have “a lot going on” and “can’t come all the time,” he ultimately dubbed her presence “a little bit performative.”
The point guard explained that some A-listers “just want to be seen at the games, they’re not necessarily fans.”
McBride, 26, chimed in, praising Ben Stiller and Tracy Morgan as genuine supporters of the professional basketball team.
Swift’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The pop star, notably, sparked backlash over the summer when she sat courtside at one of the Knicks’ NBA Finals games.
Swift, 36, attended with her pals Este Haim and Alana Haim, with the trio sitting besides diehard Knicks fan Mariska Hargitay.
At the time, the Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs — and would go on to win the championship, their first in 53 years.
Hank Azaria, Charlamagne Tha God and more stars took issue with Swift’s playoff attendance.
The actor, who was “stuck … up in the rafters” during the game, said he was “bothered” by her courtside seats and “tired” of seeing her at sporting matches.
“I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL [to watch fiancé Travis Kelce] and now she’s at the Garden,” he told “Dan Le Batard Show” listeners. “Come on.”
Charlamagne, for his part, requested on “The Breakfast Club” that Swift “get the eff out of” the arena.
Additionally, Dave Portnoy ranted about being “sick” of Swift and other “obnoxious” celebs at games.
Swift, notably, made headlines one month prior for an NBA date night with Kelce — with the Kansas City Chiefs player sporting a Cleveland Cavaliers cap as the Ohio-based team faced off against the Knicks.
Swift did not rep either team during the May outing.
