This was Separation Saturday.

Seven games featuring ranked teams.

A day that revealed several schools as pretenders.

Georgia made a statement as the clear team to beat by thrashing Ole Miss. Alabama positioned itself to reach the SEC championship game by routing fading LSU. Texas kept its playoff hopes alive with a strong win at Missouri. Notre Dame likely locked up a playoff spot by handing Miami its first loss, exacting revenge from a year ago.
