Host Lowe asked Ibrahimovic how he was doing on the flight as he gripped the side door of the helicopter.

“The adrenaline is pumping on the way. S–ting in my pants but OK,” he said with a laugh. “I don’t like helicopters. But it’s OK. I have Rebecca close to me. I have Thierry. I have Alexi. If we go down, we go down together. Let’s go.”

At first, the crew was set up at a desk under the Brooklyn Bridge to start the six-hour pregame show.

They then hopped on a ferry through the East River to the helicopter and then got in a car in New Jersey to the stadium.

While on the ferry for the first leg of their journey, Lowe asked for Ibrahimovic’s thoughts.

He simply went on to kick a soccer ball into the water.

“This is what we think. The game is about to start and we are ready,” he said.

Upon loading in the car to go to the stadium via a police escort, Ibrahimovic was more like himself after the helicopter ride.

“Chaos but we like chaos,” he said. “We are on the way. The driver is pushing. We got police escort. This is like the GTA but for real. Not the game.”
