Observations from the first practice of Jets training camp on Wednesday.

Cool Running

The Jets have a strong trio of running backs in Breece Hall, Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis, and all three had good moments Wednesday, either running the ball or catching it. 

Wilting Will’

WR Isaiah Williams had a bad drop in the middle of the field.

Williams proved himself to be a good returner last year, but he needs to show something to earn more time on offense.

Caught My Eye

Aaron Glenn got fired up at one moment and screamed at edge rusher Braiden McGregor.

It was unclear what McGregor did, but Glenn made it known that he was unhappy.

Medical Report

Rookie CB D’Angelo Ponds has a strained calf, but Glenn said he is not worried about it. DT Mazi Smith left practice with a hamstring injury.

Glenn revealed NT T’Vondre Sweat has a hamstring issue that landed him on the non-football injury list.
