Charlie Woods lands deal with TaylorMade — adding to eye-opening NIL figure
There are now two members of the Woods family tied to the TaylorMade Golf brand.
The popular golf brand signed Charlie Woods — son of the legendary Tiger Woods, who is a partner with the company — to an NIL deal, the brand announced Friday on social media.
The 17-year-old Woods is a senior at the Benjamin School in Florida and committed to Florida State beginning in the the 2027-28 academic year, and this new agreement adds to his already top-projected NIL valuation among college and junior golfers at $3 million, according to golfnilcentral.com.
“Having TaylorMade in my corner has been great,” Charlie Woods said, per Golf.com. “They’ve supported me a lot over the last year, and I’m really excited to officially be part of Team TaylorMade. So many great players have been a part of this team, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.”
Woods has not yet blazed his own path as a golf prodigy, but there will always be buzz when your father is one of the — if not the — greatest to ever play the sport.
Tiger signed with TaylorMade in 2017, paving the way for his son to partner with the brand.
TaylorMade’s video showed Charlie sitting down inside a locker room before opening one locker and putting on a branded hat.
“Just getting started. Welcome to the squad, Charlie Woods,” the company’s X post read.
NIL deals are not prevalent among college and junior golfers, with the head coach of a top-20 Division I coach telling Golfweek that they believed only 25-30 players actually are receiving money.
Charlie, though, has a name brand that, as of now, outweighs his actual performances.
He is ranked No. 306 in the American Junior Golf Association’s standings, and was tied for seventh, as of Saturday morning, in the Junior Players Championship in Florida this weekend.
Charlie won the 2025 Team TaylorMade Invitational last May.

TaylorMade has also partnered with Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump, who is beginning her freshman year at Miami and has a projected $2.25 million NIL value, per golfnilcentral.com.
“We build our roster of athletes around those who are driven by the game of golf and have an unmatched desire to compete at the highest level,” TaylorMade Golf CEO and president David Abeles told Golf.com. “Charlie epitomizes that every time he tees it up. The growth of his game over the last few years speaks for itself and we are humbled he chose TaylorMade to support him as he competes at the junior level and during his transition to collegiate golf.”
