Woman, 81, found dead in her NYC home, person of interest taken into custody

An elderly woman was found dead in her Queens home on Thursday — and cops took a person of interest into custody.

Lillie Hill, 81, was found unconscious by police responding to a 911 call inside her home on 146th Street between Sutter Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard in South Jamaica around 3:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Cops then took an unidentified person of interest into custody in connection with the case, authorities added.

No charges were filed by late Thursday.

The circumstances surrounding Hill’s death are not immediately known.

Photos captured cops stationed outside her fenced home, just blocks away from John F. Kennedy Airport.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine Hill’s cause of death, and an investigation remains ongoing.
