Watch as OutKick's Trey Wallace braves Hurricane Isaias' before Alabama-Georgia showdown in Tuscaloosa
Hurricane Isaias has made landfall near the Florida Gulf Coast, and it has directly affected several college football games with some kickoff-time changes and even a cancellation.
The storm isn’t stopping No. 6 Alabama from hosting No. 2 Georgia on Saturday night, but make no mistake that the on-field play could certainly look different than originally anticipated.

For starters, ESPN’s “College GameDay” was forced to move indoors because of the storm that is slowly making its way toward the Atlantic Coast . School officials also halted any sort of tailgating until noon local time.

The storm also halted President Donald Trump from attending the highly anticipated SEC bout.
Both Georgia and Alabama rank quite well in the rushing attack – the Bulldogs’ 198.3 rushing yards per game rank 28th in the country, while Alabama is 10 spots below at 186.4. That comes on 34.3 and 38.4 rushing attempts, respectively (Georgia is 81st there, but the Tide are 38th).

HURRICANE ISAIAS FORCES NUMEROUS COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES TO HAVE CHANGES, INCLUDING A CANCELLATION
If the rain holds steady, it could affect the passing attack, which is already not necessarily a strong suit for either program. Alabama throws the ball 27.2 times a game (99th), while Georgia is 105th in the country with 26.3 passes per contest.
The rain is expected to stop by kickoff, but not after nearly 24 hours of it, which may have turned the grass surface of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium into a swamp (it is equipped with quite the advanced draining system).
Both teams enter the game at 5-0, and it is the ninth time since the 2018 national championship in which both squads are ranked inside the top 10 in the nation.
